Ingredients: Chicken with Tahini Sauce recipe
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 T tahini
- 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or 1 fresh clove minced)
- 2 T minced onion
- 1 T olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
Heat a pan to medium. Add olive oil and cook chicken breast for 5-7 minutes/side, until cooked all the way through. Set aside and season with salt and pepper. Reduce heat, and add chicken broth, tahini, cumin, garlic, and onion. Simmer sauce for several minutes, stirring frequently, until it reaches a paste-like consistency. Top chicken with tahini sauce and serve.
