Hi!

I did this and keep getting this message.

Device 0 (VID=041e and PID=4152) is a Creative ZEN V Plus.
PTP_ERROR_IO: Trying again after re-initializing USB interface

Please bare with me I’m a complete newbie, missing my mp3 player desperately.

Thnx! Had the same issue on Ubuntu 10.04 with a Creative Zen V Plus. And this workaround did the trick.
